LSU Basketball opened its 2018-19 season with a victory in the Pete Maravich Assemebly Center on Tuesday nifght, but the highlight of the night came after the game.

Coach Wade and the entire LSU Basketball team honored one of their own, Wayde Simms, after the game. If you recall, Simms was murdered near the campus of Southern University just prior to the season and the team paid tribute to their former teammate with a special video.

In addition to that, LSU gave Simms' parents the American flag that hung in the arena on opening night and the game ball.

What an honor for such a great young man and his family.
