
LSU Ranked In AP Preseason Top 25 Basketball Poll
At least one major college basketball poll is really high on the LSU Tigers for the upcoming 2018-2019 season.
LSU cracked the Associated Press Top 25 preseason basketball poll, which was released on Monday.
The Tigers rank #23, marking the first time they've been ranked in the AP Top 25 since 2015.
LSU, who finished 18-15 a season ago, is one of five SEC teams ranked in the AP preseason poll, with Kentucky #2, Tennessee at #6, Auburn at #11, Mississippi State at #18, and LSU at #23.
Kansas is the top-ranked team in the preseason poll, followed by Kentucky, Gonzaga, Duke, and Virginia, to round out the top five.
Tennessee, Nevada, North Carolina, Villanova, and Michigan St. are ranked 6-10, respectively.
