Man Dies After Being Hit By A Truck
The name of the victim is being withheld until the man's family can be notified of his death, and the investigation into exactly what happened today is ongoing.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office says a man died at the Tobacco Plus on East Admiral Doyle Drive after being hit by a truck making deliveries.
Apparently the driver of the truck did not see that man was walking in the parking lot of the store.
Routine toxicology tests are pending on the driver of the delivery truck.
This accident happened at around 10 o'clock this morning.
