Non-Compliant Sex Offender Arrested

A Breaux Bridge sex offender was arrested yesterday after failing to report a change of address.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Maj. Ginny Higgins reported deputies arrested 46-year-old Marcus Lewis late Friday morning.

Lewis was arrested following an investigation in reference to a non-compliant sex offender.

Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on charges of failing to report a change of address/register as a sex offender (La.R.S. 15:542.1.2) and his bond was set at $5,000.
