Ohio State Surpasses LSU For Number One In CFB Playoff Rankings
The College Football Selection Committee released its fourth look at the 2019 playoff rankings on Tuesday, and the LSU Tigers have been knocked off the top of the college football mountain, despite having the top-ranked strength of schedule in the country, ten spots better than Ohio State.
Ohio State jumped the Tigers after defeating ranked Penn State, while LSU beat up on a 2 win Arkansas team last week.
This week the Tigers will finish up their 2019 regular-season at home to face Texas A&M this weekend. The Aggies are having a decent season as they're 7-4 overall and 4-3 in the SEC.
Appalachian State comes in at #25. Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will battle App State a week from this Saturday in the Sun Belt Conference Championship game.
