An Abbeville juvenile just inside of a home on Green Street was shot after someone fired at the house.

There are not very many details being released at this time, but Lieutenant Jonathan Touchet says via a press release that someone fired shots at a home in the 1600 block of Green Street.

The victim, whose age has not been given, was taken to a hospital for help, and then ultimately transferred to another hospital for continued treatment.

Police who were patrolling in the area heard the noise, and they went to investigate.

Police just want to know information about the case.
