Police Investigating Gilman Road Shooting
The Lafayette Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened around 4:43 a.m. on June 3 in the 1100 block of West Gilman Road.
LPD spokesman Sgt. Vance Olivier says officers found a black female who was shot while she was inside a vehicle. He says she suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The motive and suspects are unknown at this time as officers continue to investigate.
