Lafayette Police are investigating a shooting that was apparently committed by a juvenile.

LPD Cpl. Karl Ratcliff said police responded to the shooting on Peppermill Drive at about 7:30 p.m. Friday.

At the scene, they found a 35-year-old black male victim suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Ratcliff said police have identified multiple juvenile suspects in connection with the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
