Rayne Man Arrested In Marijuana Bust Involving U.S. Postal Service
Mervine Dugas of Rayne is behind bars after Crowley Police say he was one of many suspects who have been using the United States Postal Service to ship and receive high grade Marijuana.
"The investigators did a good job of identifying people involved in this case," says Chief K.P. Gibson. "By making this arrest a street value of $100,000 in Marijuana intended for our city and parish are now off the streets."
Dugas has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail for Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. The incident happened on November 6th.
Chief Gibson says other arrests are pending.
