Saints Add Daniel Lasco, Release Adam Bighill & Bryce Harris
The New Orleans Saints made numerous roster moves on Tuesday.
The team promoted running back Daniel Lasco from the practice squad, while waiving linebacker Adam Bighill and releasing offensive tackle Bryce Harris.
As previously reported, the Saints also re-signed defensive tackle John Hughes and linebacker Michael Mauti, while placing linebacker Nate Stupar on injured reserve.
Lasco, the Saints' 7th-round draft choice in 2016, appeared in 7 games for the team last year, compiling 32 yards on 11 carries.
The 25-year old Lasco was waived by the Saints in September, before being signed to the practice squad.
The 28-year old Bighill, who played 6 CFL seasons with the British Columbia Lions, while being honored as a 4-time CFL all-star, compiled 108 tackles and 5 sacks in 2016, one season after being named the CFL’s most outstanding defensive player in 2015.
The 5-foot-10, 230-pound Bighill was promoted from the practice squad last week, prior to the Saints' win over the Detroit Lions.
The 28-year old Harris, who spent three seasons with the Saints (2012-2014) earlier in his career, spent training camp with the Saints before being released for the first time on September 2.
Harris was re-signed, and then released, on two other occasions this season alone.
The 6-foot-6, 300-pound Harris has appeared in 35 career games, all but one with the Saints, including 4 starts.
