The New Orleans Saints win streak is now at three games.

New Orleans won their third consecutive game without injured starting quarterback Drew Brees, downing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-24, in an NFC South Division match-up on Sunday afternoon at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The Saints led throughout most of the game, with Tampa Bay only holding one lead, a 7-3 advantage in the first quarter.

New Orleans, who outgained Tampa Bay, in terms of total yards, 457-252, was paced by quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who completed 26-of34 passes for 314 yards and four touchdowns, while Michael Thomas caught 11 passes for 182 yards and two scores.

With the victory, the Saints improved to 4-1 on the season, while the Buccaneers fell to 2-3.

The Saints return to action next Sunday when they travel to Jacksonville, Florida to take on the Jaguars.
