The New Orleans Saints signed a familiar face to their practice squad on Thursday.
Gray was released on Wednesday, to open a spot on the 53-man roster for veteran receiver Brandon Marshall, who signed with New Orleans on Tuesday.
The 22-year old Gray, who signed with the Saints as a undrafted free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft, played his college football at Mississippi St., where he totaled 64 tackles and one interception as a senior in 2017.
The 6-foot-, 202-pound Gray played in five games for the Saints this season, primarily on special teams, compiling two tackles.
