The New Orleans Saints have added another defensive back to their roster.

The team inked safety Sharrod Neasman on Thursday, while waiving safety Mykkele Thompson.

The 26-year old Neasman, who played his college football at Florida Atlantic, signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft.

A native of Sarasota, Florida, Neasman appeared in three games as a rookie for the Falcons in 2016, before appearing in 11 more last season.

In 14 career games, the 5-foot-11, 213-pound Neasman has compiled five tackles.

Thompson, who played his college football at Texas, was signed to the Saints' practice squad on December 29th of last year, prior to signing a reserve/future contract with the team in January.
