‘Sea Monster’ Is Just A Big Rock. Probably.

A video made by folks who believe they've found either the mythical Kraken, some unknown species of sea creature, or the fictional Cthulu has gone viral.

Turns out the sea creature is most likely a giant rock formation known as 'Sail Rock,' which is in the same location as the image found on Google Earth.

Deep sea biologist and geneticist Andrew David Thaler debunked the sea monster theory, using a map of the area to show that the rock formation is just where the 'creature' was seen.
