Snowden Says ‘Mission’s Already Accomplished’

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former National Security Agency analyst Edward Snowden says everything he had been trying to do "was validated" when journalists could tell the story of the U.S. government's secret collection of the Internet and phone records of Americans.

Snowden tells The Washington Post that he didn't want to change society, but wanted to give society a chance "to determine if it should change itself."
