Daylight Saving Time......it's suppose to make us save time and energy.

We go from Standard Time to Daylight Saving Time. Everyone has an opinion about whether we should be changing the time around twice a year, but I just wonder what about how I'm going to feel on Monday.

So, Daylight Save Time begins at 2:00 o'clock Sunday morning, so I'll set my clocks ahead by one hour before I go to bed on Saturday night.

When Monday morning rolls around, and the alarm starts bleeping at me at 2:40, what time will my body think it is? Have a lost an hour, gained an hour......I'm so confused!

I normally get up at 2:40, so in the fall when we "Fall Back", or return to Standard Time, is that better for my body? I get an extra hour of sleep! But, when we "Spring Forward", 2:40 a.m. is going to feel like 1:40 a.m. to my body!!! Ah.....man.....sigh.

Not that anyone is asking, but if they do, I want to stay on Standard Time.

In the words of Danny Glover in one of Lethal Weapon movies, "I'm getting to old for this. There is another word, but I'm not going to type it. I think you get my point!

Have a great weekend, and I hope you are able to wake up on time Sunday or Monday, if that is the first day you have to deal with this crazy time stuff!
