The following is a list of the arrests in St. Mary Parish in the last 24 hours:

Ervin Thomas, Jr., 29, 9140 Highway 90 Frontage Road, Centerville, LA was arrested on August 12, 2015 at 10:05 pm for violation of the parish vicious animal ordinance. A deputy responded to a complaint of a Pit Bull running loose in the Centerville area. The deputy made contact with Thomas who is the owner of the dog. Following an investigation, the deputy issued Thomas a summons to appear in court on November 17, 2015.

Renaldo Toussaint, 38, 211 Baptiste Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on August 12, 2015 at 8:46 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of Schedule I drugs and resisting an officer, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.

Jernell Payne, 109 Robicheaux Lane, Verdunville, LA was arrested on August 12, 2015 at 9:05 pm for possession of Legend Drug (Flexeril), possession of Schedule II (Lortab), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deshineda Conneor, 1510 N. 3rd Street Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 12, 2015 for distribution of Legend Drug (Flexeril).

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop on Highway 182 in Morgan City. They made contact with two passengers inside the vehicle identified as Toussaint and Payne. Detectives located active warrants for Toussaint. While speaking with Payne, detectives found that he was in possession of several Flexeril and Lortab pills. During the traffic stop investigation, Conneor came to the location. Detectives made contact with her and learned that she had given Payne some of the pills. All three subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set for Payne and Conneor. Bail for Toussaint is set at $7,019.08.
