The following is a list of the people who were booked into the St. Mary Parish Correctional Center for Tuesday, September 11, 2018:

David Moresi, 39, 133 North Orphan Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on September 11, 2018, at 10:39 am for criminal trespass and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of resisting an officer by providing false information, operating a vehicle while license suspended, operating a vehicle with an unlit license plate, and expired motor vehicle inspection.

A deputy patrolling the Baldwin area learned of the location of Moresi who had active warrants for his arrest. The deputy proceeded to a residence on North Orphan Street and made contact with Moresi. Moresi was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. Moresi was released on a $1,000 bond.

Juvenile female, 15, Charenton, LA was arrested on September 10, 2018, at 1:35 pm for runaway juvenile, battery on a police officer, resisting by force, and criminal damage to property-simple.

Deputies patrolling the area of Franklin were dispatched to the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in reference to an ungovernable juvenile. The deputies made contact upon arrival with the juvenile and throughout the investigation the juvenile damaged property and struck officers. The juvenile was arrested and was released into the custody of a parent pending juvenile court proceedings.

Bryan Lyons, 54, 311 Mudd Avenue, Lafayette, LA was arrested on September 10, 2018, at 11:14 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.

A deputy working at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center learned of an active warrant for Lyons’ arrest. Lyons was arrested on the warrant and continues to be housed at the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center. Bail was set at $11,586.05.

Kori Jones, 28, 420 South Landry Drive, New Iberia, LA was arrested on September 10, 2018, at 12:43 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

A deputy working at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center learned of an active warrant for Jones’ arrest. Jones was arrested on the warrant and bail was set at $50,100.

April Johnson, 42, 10320 Highway 182, Garden City, LA was arrested on September 10, 2018, at 3:33 pm for theft and forgery.

A deputy patrolling Centerville was dispatched to a residence in response to a theft. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim who had a personal check stolen from his residence and was subsequently cashed. Through the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Johnson had stolen the check. The deputy made contact with Johnson at a residence in Garden City.  Johnson was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail was set.

Tyler Scully, 25, 149 Sun Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 10, 2018, at 7:01 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of taking commercial fish without a commercial gear license, no boat numbers, failure to comply with boating safety education requirements.

A deputy working at the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center made contact with Scully as Scully turned himself in on an active warrant. Scully was arrested on the warrant and processed. Scully was released on his recognizance.
