St. Mary Sheriff’s Office Makes Burglary Arrest

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office have found missing art from a home on Highway 83 in Glencoe after a month long investigation.

When detectives gained enough information, they teamed up with several other agencies to search four homes. Two of the homes were on Cayce Street in Franklin, and one home on Palfrey Street along with one home on Liners Street.

Deputies arrested 32-year-old John Loustalot of 1107 Cayce Street after they found the stolen art and other stolen items.

Loustalot was arrested for simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling along with illegal possession of stolen things.

They also arrested 27-year-old Grace Loustalot of 598 Palfrey Street in Franklin after finding a hydrocodone pill.

Deputies are continuing to investigate all the stolen items found so that they can be returned to their rightful owners.
