Surprise Dem Candidate For Governor Qualifies Challenging Edwards

After Day 1 of qualifying, we now have five candidates for Louisiana Governor. Two candidates seemed to come out of nowhere: one Republican, "Live Wire" Landry and one Democrat, "Omar" Dantzler. Until that point, most analysts called for Governor Edwards to run "unopposed" by another Democrat. But Dantzler, a community organizer from Hammond, threw his hat in the race.
