A shooting in Breaux Bridge on Thursday has left one 16-year-old boy injured and police looking for whoever shot him.

According to a press release from Breaux Bridge Police, officers were called out to the area of Dorset Street around 2 PM. That's when they found the boy with a gunshot wound to the leg. He is in the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, according to the press release.

Officers need your help as they say the suspects got away before the officers arrived on the scene. Investigators do not have any names of the suspects either.
