Officials with the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers are featuring a crime reported to the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office last month that involves the burglary of a church in Richard.

Almost a month ago, someone burglarized St. Edward Catholic Church on the night of November 24.

Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office personnel say that the culprit can be seen on surveillance video breaking into the church offering boxes, and that person made of with the cash.

Deputies report that the suspect was wearing a mask along with gloves.

This person also had on a light colored sweatshirt that had a hood on it.

His boots, typical work boots, were decorated with an American Flag print.

When the suspect was leaving this church in Richard, he got into a Ford F150 truck that included a crew cab, and it was light in color.

The truck was seen leaving in a northerly direction on Charlene Highway.
