UPDATE: A KPEL sources says that while the right lane is still blocked, traffic is moving again in the left lane.

According to several listeners, there is slow traffic on Interstate Ten eastbound still this morning after an 18-wheeler flipped over.

According to the Louisiana Department of Transportation, the right lane of traffic on Interstate Ten eastbound is blocked because the big rig overturned.

This all happened near the Ramah area on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge.

Earlier this morning, several Kpel listeners let us know about the situation.

At 9 o'clock a listener reported that things were very slow, and now a Kpel employee says things in that area on the eastbound side are at a dead stop.
