Tragedy On Calcasieu Lake

One boy is dead, and another is in the hospital after a collision on Calcasieu Lake.

Louisiana's Wildlife and Fisheries says the body of 12-year-old was pulled from the lake after there was a collision between a jet ski and boat.

The boy who died was a six grade student at Our Lady of Fatima school.

Another six grade boy, also a student at Fatima, was taken to a local hospital.

The collision between the jet ski and the boat happened near Hebert's Landing.

The investigation continues.
