Two Thursday Night Games Begin Week 8 High School Football

Believe it or not, week 8 of the 2017 high school football season begins tonight.

To kickoff this week's slate of games in the Acadiana area, their are two local slated for Thursday evening.

In a District 4-4A tilt, the Carencro Bears will travel to take on the Rayne Wolves.

Carencro is 3-3, overall, and 2-0 in district play, while Rayne will enter at 5-1, and 1-1 respectively.

In a District 5-3A contest, the Crowley Gents will play host to the Church Point Bears.

Crowley is currently 4-3, overall, and 2-2 in district play, while Church Point is 5-1, overall, to go along with a perfect 4-0 district mark.
