Where did the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns finish in the final college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) of 2018, prior to the NCAA Softball Tournament, which was released on Monday?

Now that the field of 64 teams has been set, RPI doesn't mean so much, but it's always interesting to see how the teams rank.

Louisiana, who is 38-15 on the season, ranks number 22 this week, which is down one spot from a week ago.

The Cajuns, who are heading to the NCAA Regionals for a 20th-consecutive season, will take part in the Baton Rouge Regional this weekend, featuring UL, LSU, Houston, and Fordham.

Oregon is the top team in the RPI rankings this week, followed by UCLA, Florida, Oklahoma, and Florida St..

6-10 consists of Washington, Arizona St., Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia.

LSU is #11 this week.

Louisiana is the highest ranked Sun Belt Conference school, followed by Texas St. (#28), Georgia St. (#64), South Alabama (#69), UTA (#83), Georgia Southern (#84),  Troy (#98), Coastal Carolina (#129), ULM (#157) , and Appalachian St. (#232).
