UL’s Tracy Walker To Play In East-West Shrine Game
Tracy Walker, who just completed an outstanding career as a member of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajun football team, will suit up as a college athlete one more time, in an all-star contest.
A native of Brunswick, Georgia, Walker accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Game on Saturday.
A defensive back, Walker compiled 97 tackles and two interceptions in 2017, and finished his stellar career at UL with 276 tackles and 8 interceptions over 50 games.
Walker becomes the second Louisiana player in as many years to be invited to play in the East-West Shrine Game, with former Cajun, and current New York Jets running back Elijah McGwire playing in last year's game.
The 93rd annual East-West Shrine Game will be played on Jan. 20, 2018 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.
