Vermilionville is inviting everyone out to their annual Acadian Culture Day this Sunday, August 12th from 10am to 5pm.

This free event will explore how the Acadian community maintains its heritage. This year's theme is "What's Happening Now."

In the village, you'll be able to check out demonstrations throughout the day including Cajun dancing, woodcarving, cotton spinning, trapping and more.

There will be cooking demonstrations in the Cooking School plus music-related activities all day in the Performance Center.
