Why Will The Water Be Off In St. Martinville?

There is an issue will some of the water lines in St. Martinville, and tonight water will be shut off.

Water lines that feed people on the east side of the Bayou Teche will have their water shut off starting at 10 o'clock tonight.

According to city hall officials, the work is expected to last about four to five hours, but it could take longer.

They recommend that everyone in those areas take the needed preparations in order to avoid any issues because the water will be off.
