Widow Of Slain Baton Rouge Deputy Give Emotional Speech At Funeral

Baton Rouge television station WBRZ has been in non-stop coverage since the shooting death of East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Deputy Shawn Anderson over the weekend. Today, he was laid to rest after a massive funeral service that was televised in Baton Rouge. Sgt. Anderson's widow, Becky, remembered him saying:

"I’m not afraid of being shot. I’m not afraid of dying. I’m afraid of leaving you and the kids here by yourself.”
