World War II Veteran Throws Out First Pitch – VIDEO
This gentleman is a true living hero.
Frank Anderson, who is 104-year-old World War II veteran, threw out the first pitch prior to a recent Memphis Redbirds minor league baseball game on the Fourth of July.
The Redbirds are the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Mr. Anderson, who was one of the first Master Sergeants under General Walton Walker in General Patton's 3rd Army of the 20th Corps, became the oldest person to throw out a first pitch in Autozone Park history.
He looks great! May we all be so active at age 104!
This was just an awesome moment, involving a great man, on our nation's birthday.
