A 5-year-old in Galion, Ohio was hospitalized after having what his parents suspected were seizures this past Sunday. The child reportedly tested positive for methamphetamines after eating candy he got while trick-or-treating.

Wgal.com reports 5-year-old Braylen Carwell started having seizure-like symptoms after eating a few pieces of candy.

The child's mother Julia Pence tells wsyx.com "the left side of his face was just droopy and then he fell and then he couldn’t move his left arm."

The Galion Police Department believe Braylen's Halloween candy may have been laced with drugs. They are still investigating to determine the definite source of the meth.

He reportedly doing fine and is expected to make a full recovery.
