6 UL Players Named To All-Sun Belt Offense

Six members of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns were named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Offensive Team for week 7.

You tend to get a lot of offensive accolades when you score 66 points, as Louisiana did in their 66-38 homecoming victory over New Mexico St. last Saturday at Cajun Field.

Mitchell rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns, as UL rushed 344 yards as a team.

Patterson caught three passes for 114 and one touchdown, while Jackson had four receptions for 63 yards and two scores, to help Louisiana pass for 415 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Arkansas St. and Georgia Southern each played three players on the defensive unit:

The Cajuns, who are now 3-3 on the season, including a 1-1 Sun Belt Conference mark, return to action on Saturday, when they travel to take on the Appalachian St. Mountaineers.
