LSU Picked 6th In SEC Basketball

The LSU Tigers are expected to finish out of the top five in the 2018-2019 SEC men's basketball standings, as forecasted by media members.

On Tuesday, SEC media members predicted LSU to finish sixth in the conference this season behind Kentucky, Tennessee, Auburn, Mississippi State and Florida.

Kentucky is now the preseason favorite in the media poll for the 14th time since the 1998-99 season.

Also released on Tuesday was the Preseason All-SEC Team, which features LSU guard  Tremont Waters on the first team, and Tennessee's Grant Williams as the Preseason SEC Play of the Year.
