Acadiana Cancellations Due To Saturday’s Inclement Weather
With some possibly severe weather rolling through Acadiana this Saturday, several events across the area have been cancelled.
So far, KATC reports these are what have been called in so far, but this list is sure to grow throughout the day. We will update this as we get new information.
Crowley Car Show
Rice City Classic Car & Antique Tractor Show scheduled for April 14, 2018.
5th Annual Crime and Abuse Prevention Walk
The Evangeline Parish walk scheduled for Saturday, April 14, 2018, has been canceled.
ACT at NISH
The ACT scheduled for April 14, 2018, at New Iberia Senior High has been canceled due to inclement weather. The rescheduled date will be posted at www.actstudent.org as soon as is set. Registered examinees will receive officials notification from ACT. This announcement is only for those examinees registered at New Iberia Senior High.
Touch a Truck
The 2018 Touch a Truck has been canceled. Susan G. Komen Acadiana is working with UL on another date.
4th Annual Ryan's Run
LOPA's 4th Annual Ryan's Run, in partnership with The Tap Room, has been canceled due to inclement weather. The run has been rescheduled for June 2.
Running of the Rams
The Acadiana High School Academy of Business Running of the Rams is canceled. Registered participants can pick up a jambalaya plate and their T-shirt at Acadiana High School tonight from 5-7 p.m.
Project Front Yard Fest
Semi-annual Household Hazardous Waste Day has been canceled. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
Omega Kite Day
Omega Kite Day scheduled for April 14 in Lafayette has been canceled. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
St. Martin Parish
Girl Scout Family Day, which was to be held tomorrow at Camp Bon Temps in Breaux Bridge, has been canceled. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
St. Mary Parish
Bike Safety in Morgan City
The Bike Safety Rodeo sponsored by the Morgan City Police Dept. has been canceled. The event will be rescheduled.
