Analysis Of Vermilion River To Be Released Thursday

There will be a joint press conference this Thursday, February 20 with 3rd District Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins and the Army Corps of Engineers-New Orleans District.

The whole purpose of the press conference, according to a press release from Congressman Higgins' office, is to detail some recently completed work.

The work was an analysis of the Vermilion River when it comes to hydrological and hydraullic issues.

Hopefully at the press conference, citizens will get a better idea of the scope of different projects related to the Vermilion River.

The press conference is slated to begin at 11:30 this Thursday morning.

The schedule says that the event will be held at LEDA, the Lafayette Economic Development Authority.

LEDA is located at 211 East Devalcourt Street in Lafayette.
