
Armed Robbery Suspect At Large In New Iberia
Iberia Parish deputies are searching for an armed robbery suspect who held up two stores in New Iberia.
Investigators are seeking 23-year-old Anthony Wesley Jr. who is wanted for two alleged armed robberies.
Iberia Parish Sheriff's Spokesman Major Wendell Raborn says Wesley allegedly robbed the cashier and two customers at gunpoint at a Family Dollar store on west Admiral Doyle on March 28th.
Then, Raborn said, on the next day he allegedlyrobbed the cashier at a Dollar General store nearby. Wesley is described as a black male, standing 5-feet-7inches tall, weighing 130 pounds.
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
