
Brandon Scott Lavergne Unsuccessfully Attempts Escape From Angola Prison
According to a report from News 10, Brandon Scott Lavergne attempted to escape from Angola.
Department of Corrections Communication Director, Ken Pastorik told News 10 that Lavergne attempted to escape around 4:30 a.m. on Monday but wasn't able to "get past his perimeter fence."
Back in 2012, Brandon Scott Lavergne pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the killings of Lisa Pate and Mickey Shunick. Lavergne's guilty plea was part of a deal that allowed him to avoid the death penalty and instead serve life in prison.
