Every single fan film to ever surface on the internet has to answer one question: “Why?” Why would a creator spend so much time and energy playing in someone else’s sandbox? Why didn’t they create something original? Why should we watch a fan film when movies is and TV shows made by seasoned professionals exist? That brings us to Star Wars: TIE Fighter, an animated short that’s so impressively made that even those who roll their eyes at fan films will have to at least acknowledge the skill that went into crafting it.

This is probably the most emotional thing you'll see all day, if not this week.

Remember how so many Star Wars fans lost their minds when we first saw Kylo Ren’s bizarre hilted lightsaber in the trailer for Star Wars: Episode 7? Well, they’re about to lose ‘em all over again. Hasbro is introducing a new line of toys that will allow children (and their parents) to customize their own Jedi weapons. If you should a little hilt was crazy, then you probably aren’t prepared for what people will soon be able to create in their homes.

The massive success of the ‘Despicable Me’ films have created a monster. Monsters, actually. Well, cute, yellow, strange little monsters that countless children (and some adults) all over the world have fallen in love with. However, the presence of a major star like Sandra Bullock can’t hurt and Universal has released the first images of her supervillain character, Scarlet Overkill.

We already knew Aaron Rodgers was a good guy. This just further proved it.

In case you hadn’t heard, the new ‘Avengers 2’ trailer is here. If you haven’t yet, you should watch it—it’s quite entertaining. If you have already, good you’re in the right place. We’ve gone through this trailer a few times and pulled out some of the more interesting elements to dissect and discuss. We’re not literally going to screencap every single moment (no one needs to see a shot of Tony Stark walking with our commentary of, “Here’s Tony Stark walking…”), just the ones that need highlighting and could reveal some things about the secrets of ‘Avengers 2’.
