Fatal Crash Claims Life Of Lafayette Man
28-year-old Brad Wedlock of Lafayette lost his life on Monday in a fiery crash involving four vehicles. Lafayette Police spokesman Corporal Karl Ratcliffe says he died after another driver hit his vehicle from behind.
The crash happened in the 3900 block of W. Congress Street. All lanes of West Congress were shut down.
Brad worked here at Townsquare Media a few years back, doing the nighttime show on one of our sister stations, Hot 107.9 FM. He decided to leave TSM to pursue a PhD in Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which he was very close to attaining.
Brad made many friends here at Townsquare Media. Talk to anyone here and we will glowingly talk about the young man we had the pleasure of not only working with, but getting to know personally over his time with us.
