A former LSU standout suffered a major injury on Sunday, and will miss the remainder of the 2018 NFL season.

A native of Baton Rouge, Hill, who played two seasons at LSU (2012-2013), was named a first-team All-SEC performer in 2013, after rushing for 1,401 yards and 16 touchdowns.

A second round selection of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2014 NFL Draft, Hill played four seasons for the Bengals, prior to signing a one-year, $1.5 million free agent contract with the Patriots back in March.

Hill's best NFL came as a rookie in 2014, when he rushed for 1,129 yards and 9 touchdowns while a member of the Bengals.
