Funeral Services Set For Lafayette Community Leader
89 year old Mervin Harmon passed away over the weekend and is being remembered for his many achievements. According to our news partner KATC Harmon was a business owner, Lafayette Parish's first African-American Police Juror and was one of the famed Tuskegee Airmen.
Harmon leaves behind his wife of 68 years, seven children, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at True Vine Ministries in Lafayette with viewing from 7:00 am until 11:00 am services.
