Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the latest Coronavirus numbers for the state and ongoing plans to attempt to thwart the spread of the illness.

The Governor tells KEEL listeners that, "We're working hard and I know were going to work our way through this," but underlines that any efforts to halt the spread of COVID 19 depends on the citizens of the state following his "stay-at-home" order, limiting contact with others and minimizing trips for necessities.

As far as those social limits in place, Edwards says, "I can't even think about loosening things before we see the curve start to flatten." The Governor then pointed to nations like South Korea who were able to limit the spread because of the same type of limits.
