I-10 Widening Project Continues Throughout Lafayette Parish

There are a couple of DOTD road and lane closures happening this week as workers continue the I-10 Widening Project.

Louisiana Avenue NB under I-10: La. Avenue northbound under I-10 (between the on and off ramps of La. Avenue northbound) will be closed until Thursday, March 29. This will happen from 4 AM until 3 PM DAILY as crews perform construction of the overpass. DETOUR: I-10 Eastbound to LA 328 (Rees Street) to I-10 westbound to La. Avenue northbound.
I-10 Westbound from LA 328 Overpass to Bayou Teche Bridge: The Westbound inside lane of I-10 from LA 328 overpass to Bayou Teche Bridge will be closed for roadway construction. This will happen from 8 PM Wednesday, March 28 until 6 AM Thursday, March 29.
