Massive Swarm of Termites Seen Moving Between Eunice and Iota, Louisiana

Termites are swarming in South Louisiana and a massive swarm was recently spotted over Hwy 91 in Acadiana.

Ashley Borque spotted the swarm between Eunice and Iota last weekend.

As Rob Perillo put it, they were moving in a "curtain-like formation" above the highway. Termites usually begin swarming in mid-May and it lasts through most of June.

If you see Termites swarming near your home during this time of the year you usually don't have much to worry about, but if you suspect that they are causing damage to your property you should contact an exterminator immediately.
