Small Plane Lands on Popular Louisiana Beach Destination

Soon many from South Louisiana will be heading to the beach and you never know what awaits you when you dig your toes in the sand.

A few beachgoers at a popular beach where many from here love to relax got an unexpected "visitor" to start the week when a small plane made an emergency landing.

The plane reportedly had trouble with its engine which forced the pilot to make a quick decision and land the plane on the beach in Miramar Beach, Florida. If the location sounds familiar it's because so many from Louisiana visit this gorgeous place just east of Destin.

According to the Walton County Sheriff's Office, no one on the beach was injured during this emergency landing and no one on the plane was hurt during the landing.

So, as you prepare for your next beach trip keep in mind that you never know who or what may show up on the beach while you're tanning or relaxing.
