An ambulance and school bus were involved in a wreck Wednesday morning in South Louisiana.

According to WBRZ, a total of four people were injured in the crash, and three of those injured were students. All of those injured were sent to a nearby hospital for observation.

Those students on the bus that were not injured were either sent to school on another bus, or picked up at the scene by their parents.

The crash reportedly happened in Port Allen on N. 14th Street and Court Street.

Police say that a West Baton Rouge Parish school bus and an Acadian Ambulance collided, and all of those injured appeared to only suffer from minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Because a school bus was involved several ambulance units were dispatched to the scene.
