The Texas Lottery has confirmed that the drawing in the Powerball multi-state lottery game on Wednesday did not produce a jackpot winner. No tickets sold for Wednesday matched the numbers needed to claim the game's top prize of $180,300,000. But there were some big money winners and at least one of those winners purchased a Powerball ticket in Texas.

Here's how Wednesday's Powerball drawing unfolded for May 1, 2024.

The numbers that bounded out of the hopper and onto the screen were:

Use those numbers for reference but you'll want to verify your ticket at the Official Powerball website or the Official Texas Lottery website. Those sites will also have detailed information on what you need to do should you be holding a money winner.

As we mentioned the top prize in Texas for Wednesday's Powerball was a $50,000 winner that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. The ticket's purchaser did not opt-in for the Power Play. Elsewhere around Texas, thirty-six tickets sold for last night earned a prize of $200. There were also 102 other tickets sold in Texas that earned a top prize of $100.

The Powerball jackpot will now climb to an estimated $203 million for Saturday's drawing. That amount is estimated annuitized jackpot, the lump sum payout for a win on Saturday would earn $92.7 million before taxes.
