Laf. Police Arrest Three Following Center Street Shooting
Two Lafayette men were arrested following a shooting on Center Street Tuesday night.
Lafayette Police spokesman Cpl. Paul Mouton said 24-year-old Isaiah Issac and 24-year-old Earl Shelvin were both charged with attempted second-degree murder following the shooting that occurred around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Mouton said the victims were in their parked car when the suspects began firing into the opposing vehicle, grazing one victim in the head.
An accomplice, 22-year-old Khelia Francis has been charged with principle to attempted second-degree murder.
All three suspects were booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.
