Louisiana Gets Two More Big Money Powerball Winners
Y'all paying attention to what is happening with the multi-state lottery games? It seems as if Louisiana has its mojo on high when it comes to collecting big money prizes from games like Powerball and Mega Millions.
In Tuesday's Mega Millions game we told you about a Louisiana purchased ticket that is worth $4 million. That ticket was sold in the Greater New Orleans area. After last night's Powerball drawing there are at least two more Louisiana lottery players that are dreaming big.
First things first, there was no big winner in the May 2nd Powerball drawing. That jackpot is now estimated to be $215 million when they let the balls drop on May 5th. However, Louisiana players did earn two $100,000 prizes in last night's drawing.
Each of the winning tickets matched four of the five white ball numbers plus the Powerball. Each ticket had engaged the Powerplay option as well. In case you're wondering if you suddenly have newfound riches here are the numbers from May 5th.

The second $100,000 winner was purchased in Reserve Louisiana. Reserve is right on the Mississippi River between Gramercy and LaPlace. That ticket was purchased at Road Runner Food and Fuel on Airline Highway.
